For Calm to Light Breeze: Use 200D nylon or 150D polyester.
For Calm to Light Breeze, but strong sun (UV index 9 and up) or heavy rain: Use 150D polyester, no nylon.
For Light Breeze to Moderate Breeze: Use 210D polyester, no nylon.
For Moderate Breeze to Strong Breeze or maritime flags: Use 300D polyester, no nylon.
